Interview with C. W. Tinney concerning his experiences as a salesman, electric furnace pioneer, and corporation founder. Tinney discusses his family background and education, his experience as a rural schoolteacher, and his job as salesman of school equipment and electrical appliances. He also talks about his employment with Mathes, his experience building dealerships, the development of the electric furnace, the founding of Electric Products, Inc., the company's growth and expansion, and, finally, selling out to Square D Electric.
